Cornerstone FAQ


Important Timeline: 

On Friday, February 28th the Cornerstone Community Credit Union branch will close at 5:00pm and will not reopen until noon on Monday, March 2nd as Vibrant Credit Union. 

During this time, Cornerstone debit cards will also be unavailable. Meaning you will not have access to your funds via debit card from Friday, February 28th at 3:00pm until Monday, March 2nd when your Vibrant debit card is turned on (you may activate your Vibrant debit card prior to the 2nd but it will not work until this date). During this time, Cornerstone checks and credit cards will continue to work. Please make sure to plan ahead for this downtime.

  • Regular branch hours are changing. After we reopen at noon on March 2nd, traditional branch hours will be as follows:

Monday - Friday  8:30am - 5:00pm

Saturday               8:30am - 12:00pm

Drive Thru Hours:
Monday - Thursday       8:30am - 5:00pm
Friday             8:30am - 6:00pm
Saturday         8:30am - 12:00pm


  • The ATM at the branch is currently down, please utilize our ATM newtork locations at this time. You can find them here.
  • You should receive your new account number(s) and routing number via mail. Please make sure all things tied to your old account number (ACH, Billpay, Direct Deposit, etc) are switched over asap.​
  • All active checking accounts will receive a box of Vibrant checks. While you can continue to use your Cornerstone Credit Union checks until September 1st, we strongly encourage you to shred any remaining checks or drop them off at the branch after March 2nd and to utilize Vibrant Credit Union checks after this date.
  • All active debit card holders will have receive their new card(s) via mail.  You can call and activate your card using the number on the sticker. Please start utilizing your new Vibrant Debit Card as of March 2nd.
  • If you have any recurring transfers in your current Online Banking these will need to be re-setup within Vibrant's Online Banking.

Will my account number change?
Yes. You will be receiving a letter confirming your account and member numbers in mid February.


Do I have to get new checks?
All checking acount holders will be reissued a box of free checks.  Starting 3/2/2020 please discontinue use of your Cornerstone checks and start using Vibrant checks.  Any outstanding Cornerstone checks will be honored until 9/1/2020.

Do I have to get a new debit card?
Yes. If you have used your Debit or ATM in the last 12 months, we will automatically issue these for you the week of February 17th. Once you receive them, you will need to call to activate them. The number will be located on the sticker on the card.  Your new card will start working 3/2/2020.

Do I have to get a new credit card?
No. Your “Cornerstone” Credit Card is actually hosted through a third party and will continue to work. After March 2nd though, please direct all calls about your Cornerstone credit card to the number on the back of the card itself (866.552.8855). Vibrant does offer two amazing Credit Cards though! Check out the details at

What routing number should I use?
Please continue to use Cornerstone’s routing number until March 2nd, 2020. After that date please start to use Vibrant’s routing number 271183646.

Will online banking change?
Vibrant’s online banking is a feature that will be available as of March 2nd, 2020.  After March 1st, head on over to to sign up! Click on “Enroll in Online Banking”. Once enrolled, check out our awesome mobile app! 

Do I need to change automatic payments, payroll deduction and direct deposit information?
Yes. ACHs, Pre-authorizations and Payroll Deduction will all need to be re setup and updated to reflect the new account numbers and new routing number. Pre-authorizations can be set up through your Vibrant online banking account. 

Will I need to reset my Bill Pay?
Yes, once you have successfully signed up for Vibrant’s Online Banking (available March 2nd. 2020) You will need to re-setup your online Bill Pay Merchants. 

To prep for the change, we advise you to collect account numbers, phone numbers, addresses and payment frequency of your current Bill Pays. 

Will there be changes in rates and fees?
Yes, as we combine into one credit union, it will be necessary for some rates and fee changes for pricing consistency. At least 45 days prior to conversion new disclosures and fee schedules will be provided. 

Where do I send a loan payment, credit card payment, deposit, etc.?
As of right now, continue payments as normal.
